You Are Your Biggest Untapped Resource

“Women are the largest untapped reservoir of talent in the world.” – Hilary Clinton

Women, overall, are still being paid LESS than their male colleagues for equal work. This isn’t acceptable. It’s 2020 ladies! It’s time we spoke up, stood up and demanded more from ourselves. Not in a materialistic way, not in a ‘change who you are’ way but in a standards way.

3 Main Reasons Women Aren’t Playing At A Higher Level

I believe there are 3 main reasons we aren’t playing on the same level as men, in terms of how much we earn and what we can accomplish.

Self doubt

Waiting for permission

With education and mentoring, we can change our narrative and how we show up in the world, become wildly, wealthy and successful and rise up as the worthy and powerful Queens we are, break generational limits and improve the quality of our lives and our families lives. But to go high, we must go DEEP.

Since working with lots of women around the world, in my affiliate marketing business, I’ve noticed these three main primary fears, keep popping back up, and are holding us back from achieving and being all we are destined to be. Myself included!

We’re given tactics and strategies to overcome them for a moment, but what happens when self-doubt and overwhelm pop their heads back up and try to take you down, over and over again? Because you know they will, right?

Will you continue to stay in a vicious cycle of ups and downs in your life and accept that these fears run your life and business and let them rob you of your joy? I don’t know about you but I’m not OK with that. I’m not willing to settle for a life of ups and downs that I have no control over.

3 secrets to overcome doubt and overwhelm

3 Secrets To Overcoming Self-Doubt & Overwhelm

So in this article, I want to share 3 secrets on how to kill your self-doubt and overwhelm, at the root, so they don’t continue to grow and take over your life. You’ll be able to tap into your abundant, inner resources and live the limitless life you deserve.

Secret #1

Break apart your self-doubt. It’s not enough to be aware of our limits and fear anymore. We have to unpack them and get to the root of the problem to be able to progress and improve the quality of our lives. Self-doubt is natural so don’t try to get rid of it. That will only cause more of it to show up. What you want to do is unpack it. What happened in your childhood or throughout your teenage years that caused you to believe you’re not capable or worthy of receiving everything you desire? What negative beliefs, from past experiences, are holding you back from living your life FULLY, what environment are you currently in? Is it supporting your higher purpose, dreams and goals or is it stopping you from growing. What personal fears do you have around making money or being successful or simply growing? These are the questions you need to be asking yourself to overcome your self-doubt.

I had such crippling self-doubt, starting my own business or expressing my thoughts on a blog, didn’t even occur to me. That’s how bad my self-doubt was. I started this blog as an outlet, as a way to express myself, when I realised I’m not the only one feeling this way. And so Tha Happiness Guide was born.

Secret #2

Overwhelm is natural when you’re learning new skills or starting something new. Our mind wants to take everything in and ends up sabotaging our progress. Our brains aren’t built to make us happy or to even help us succeed. They were designed to keep us out of danger and that’s as far as we got but it’s 2020 and there are not many things we need to run from or protect ourselves from, except our own fears and limiting beliefs. So let me ask you this, why are you in SUCH a  hurry to get to where you’re going? Why? Where are you trying to get to, so fast, that it’s causing you to feel overwhelmed?

Overwhelm is natural and it’s super exciting to be learning new things and challenging ourselves but we have to slow down and be patient with ourselves. Slowing down doesn’t necessarily mean losing or not progressing. The problem is that a lot of women live their life comparing themselves to others, therefore they have FOMO, therefore they experience overwhelm. If you allow yourself to be where you’re at, you’ll change your internal dialogue around what and where you should be. Dealing with your dialogue around money will also help you overcome overwhelm. Overwhelm for most women arises because we’re SO desperate to get somewhere and to make money and to become successful and all we’re’ meant to be but if you understand how you’re overwhelm gets created, you’ll be able to sink into self-acceptance, therefore be able to get more done. Overwhelm is another word for insecurity. When you feel secure within yourself and have unshakable belief, overwhelm diminishes automatically because you’re on a mission and you’re going to get things done, no matter what.

Secret #3

Giving yourself permission to become who you want to be is the most underrated skill in an aspiring entrepreneurs tool kit. Did you know that only 15% of your success will be based on the amount of knowledge you have, the level of skill you have, your natural talent and the education you have access to? Only 15%.

The most crucial part of your success formula (85%) is on who you give yourself permission to be. Many of us don’t realise we are waiting to be given permission by something or someone to go out and claim what’s ours. If you think you’re limited, you’ll get limited results. The quickest way to access your limitless life is by diving deep into the crevices of your soul that haven’t been given the genuine care and attention they need. Have you dealt with childhood traumas (possibly wounds created by your Mother or Father’s own limiting beliefs) that are holding you back from accessing your abundance. Are you saying things like, “Oh I don’t want to be rich, I just want more time with my family,” “I just want more money to send my kids to school,” “I just want a business that serves me,” your words are powerful and if you words do not match your internal compass you’ll self sabotage yourself and deny yourself the wealth and abundance you deserve. I will say it, “I want to be rich. I want money to flow to me effortlessly and with ease, like a waterfall. I understand my responsibility and I’m ready to carry the weight of it.”

If you speak to yourself like this, you’ll give yourself permission to receive.

Women tend to associate money with greed or sleazy salesmen but if you become aware that wealth breeds wealth, your capacity to hold it will expand and your association to money will change. Don’t deny yourself a wealthy life, simply because you have a belief that money equals loneliness, greed, materialism or selfishness. Money won’t change who you are, it’ll expose who you are, so if you’re worried about losing friends or being unrelatable, you may need to reevaluate your inner circle and peer group. Give yourself permission to receive large amounts of money without feeling guilty, unworthy or deserving. Money is just energy. If it’s not with you, it’s with someone else. Wouldn’t you rather it be with you?

money is energy. let it flow to you.

My closing thoughts are this, if you want to do great things and become the woman you were born to be, you must KNOW that you are your biggest untapped resource. But you’re like a mine. The gold is hidden, underneath the hard surfaces, you just need to do a little digging, until you uncover it. It’s all there within you, waiting to be found.

If you don’t take back control of your life and tap into your potential and inner resources, you’ll continue to feel self-doubt, overwhelm and play small in a world designed to make all your dreams come true. If you choose to invest in yourself and up-skill with tools, resources and the education you need, to create a limitless life, you’ll feel more empowered, abundant and happy!
